Thermal burn

Hi all just wondered if anyone has any experience with thermal burns. My little guy chilli had one back in october and after adjustments to the heating and lighting on his viv and a trip to the vets we started treatment.
Fast foward to today and the dryed burn mark seems to be lifting off his back just wondered if this is normal the vet never really stipulated how it would look whilst healing i just hope it is

I think it is. Just the dead tissue sluffing off, like when a scab heals.

Thanks for your reply, i think so too im hoping it comes off and hes able to feel More comfortable.

It might be burn from the heat bulb make sure you are using the right one because the chameleon accualy can’t tell if it is getting burned

If it looks raw at all under the dead skin that's coming off you can use flamazine on it or Manaku honey to help it heal.
