Think dizzy's days are numbered :-(

Well to be honest I didn't think to ask but they didn't offer me anything, iv been there before though and the male vet is something special as he does go around the world helping rhinos, Wales etc!

This is her whilst on conscious for 3-4 mins

Ps I'm gutted as I fear the worst.
She would have died years ago if I didn't buy her from the guy who was going to leave her in an empty flat.
£100 for her the cage and lights and everything. Don't want her to go as she is a real charm

I understand, from the info we have here it does sound like she might be on her last legs. It happens to the best of us I'm afraid, it doesn't mean that anything in particular was wrong.......I know I keep mentioning her age, but that is a great innings for a female veiled and I'm more interested about what went right :)
I hope she can carry on a bit longer for you though, good luck :)

I'm thinking of my options as regards the vet!
If worst comes to worst can she be put to forever sleep?
I will have her x rayed and checked all over!
She is very strong though and I know she will fight it and I will help her all the way!
It ain't over until the fat lady sings and she hasn't sung yet!

I am sorry your cham is fallen ill. She is a beautiful girl 6 1/2 years is quite old for a female veild. She has outlived most. It may just be old age sinking in unfortunately. Yes, they can be humanely euathnized just like dogs and cats.

She has been slow and sluggish for a long time now and me hand feeding her daily hasnt helped as it doesn't encourage exercise

Just checked her right hind foot and one side of her hand clasp thingy all the claws are missing!
Could this be why she has been slipping???
Maybe this is a good thing and that her health is fine?!

I doubt the missing claws on one foot would cause her to fall. You may want to consider having her put to sleep if that is what the vet thinks is best. She has had a good long life but I know you don't want her to suffer at the end. Only you and your cham can know what is best. Just watch her and decide. I am sorry both you and your cham are going through all this.

If you hadn't hand fed her she may not have lived this long. It could be that the loss of nails is a sign of her poor health. :)

I know what your saying but she is in good health.
No other signs to be honest!
her back end keeps falling off the branch so maybe arthritis?

X rays show she is healthy.
It's either eggs or follicules.
If its eggs the jab will force them out, if its follicules then it £500 surgery
