I found another exotic vet a ways away, and I have an appointment for almost a week and a half from now, but if anyone can help identify this small growth on Simba's nose I would appreciate it.
It was a piece of dried scale he had stuck to his nose, which I attributed to respiratory infection & dehydration (please see my other posts), which has greatly improved. He got a soak on Monday while I was doing "housekeeping" and after a gentle massage the dried scale fell off, but this seems like a soft, inflamed scale, maybe even abcess, although it doesnt feel like it when i touch it. He also has nasal inflammation, which wasn't noticeable until this afternoon. It isn't painful for him, he appreciated it when I rubbed it, like it was itchy and uncomfortable, but not stressed or bothered.
The nasal inflammation is very concerning to me, especially after the road we've had. I will call the new vet tomorrow and see if we can't get moved up.
