Chameleon Enthusiast
So, today was my monthly weigh in for all my chameleons. I thought I would share some photos of my cristatus from day one until now. They are all doing much better. The first is of the female. I for some reason can't find my photos from the day I got her. But she is doing much better. She is eating and her strength has really come back.

The male was sketchy. He wasn't doing all that great in the beginning and now he is doing fantastic. He is beginning to fill out a bit. He was scrawny and beat up. He is really starting to look good. The first two pics are day one. Last two are from today!!

OMG Joel, that male looks fantastic--so good, you might one day be able to change my opinion on the species. Maybe that emergency phone call to come back to the office was a blessing in disguise. How are the new group doing?

Thanks Janet! I am going to sell you on them one day.

The male and female are doing great. The female looked like she was declining just a bit, so I gave her some fluids and calcium. She is gravid, I am not sure how far along, but gravid. She has really perked up and is eating freely.

The three smaller ones were good at first. The one smallest female took a turn for the worse over night. I think she has some sort of awful parasite issue. She was on the floor of the cage writhing back and forth mouth gaped. I ended up culling her because she was clearly suffering. The other two small ones are doing great. Eating baby mantids and pin heads like crazy. Their color is really improving too.

So, if all stays as it is, I will have three pair.
