Timelapse of our Cham

Funny! Thanks for sharing. I really want to do that with my Cham!

Thanks! Yeah, the Drop Cam was a great investment. It helps when I'm out of town for a day or two to check in on him. I check on him sometimes periodically throughout the day while I'm at work. The time-lapse is a great feature to get a quick recap on Verm's day/activity levels.

Thats awesome, also good to know my veiled isnt only one who will walk circles in her cage all day like a nut

I'm glad to know he's not the only one that does that, too! It's interesting to see how he likes to "sun" himself evenly when he's sitting under the day light. I'm guessing it's part of his temperature regulation.

Thanks! Here's where it's set up. Sorry for the crappy photos but it's 1am.

That's quite a bit smaller than I was thinking it would be....which I like. I see a cord, is that how it transfers the feed or is it charging??

Yeah! It really small about the size of an iPhone 6. The cord runs the power. Everything is WIFI and all you need to do is download the free app on your phone or watch on the computer thru the Nest (Dropcam) website. From start to finish 7-10 minutes to install everything. Plus $200 lol

This is pretty cool, I'm thinking I may get one watch Nigel as well. Is this a 12 hour time lapse?

It's about 11 hours. You couldn't see him the first hour when his light first turned on because he sleeps in the bottom of the cage. So I edited that hour out.

That is really, really cool! I would love to have one set up! Too many things I want for my chameleon! Will it ever end?!?

Do you work for Nest?,...because you just made a sale! lol. I just placed an order on Amazon about an hour ago. I can't wait to set it up!!

LMAO! I wish I had stock or worked for them! The only thing is I wish it could remotely move like when he goes down to the bottom of the cage. Other than that is works perfect. I also have it facing my front door to our apartment to double as a security camera.
