Tiny Shrimp For Cham?

Today my wife put about 10 of those tiny shrimp (the type you find in a can by the hermit crab stuff at pet stores) in a bowl for our Cham. It sat there for a little while but when when came back a few hour later she had eaten all of them. I wanted to know if this was safe for her to eat; she seems to enjoy them. I can't find anything about feeding shrimp to a Cham online. Anyone have any insight?

Thank You

My first thought is that they are very high in protein in comparison to what a chameleons dirt ought to have. TO that point, it can lead to some pretty serious health issues.

In addition, I am guessing that they are actually fish food, not reptile food. I cannot imagine any reptile that would have shrimp in its diet.

Stop feeding this food.

I wouldn't do that again if I were you.
If nothing else, shrimp are too high in protein, which can lead to gout if continued.
One time probably wont hurt, just don't do it anymore

I feed shrimp to my monitor but I've been told not to make it a main part of his diet because of iodine levels or something, so I highly doubt this would be suitable for a cham if savs can only have a little bit
