i have been a reptile lover since childhood. i have recently gotten a veiled chameleon. and i just put some live plants in the terrarium bout 2 weeks ago. and a couple days ago i noticed these tiny white bugs n her fesces and then i realized they are in the soil on the wet log( part of the waterfall) and in the aqua balls, and there was one clear worm thing in the moss. what in the world are these. and will they hurt Cami (chameleon)? i have done some research and i believe the clear maggot is a fungus gnat larvae, but nothing i read said anything about them being harmful to my baby. although it said they werent good for the plants. and i thought the white dot mite lookin things were springtails, but the pictures online dont look anything like the creepy crawlys in my tank. what are they and will they hurt Cami?
