Tips on my tank setup.

So I just got my 18 month old female veiled and when she's in her tank she's dark brown/dark green. When she's out and I'm handling her she's bright green and blue is that normal. Her humidity varies from 60-75 her heat ranges from 94.8 in the basking spot to 82 on the cool side and there's new uv bulbs. I'm new to this and any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in a rush atm. To start, many, many more horizontal branches, more plants(veileds should have live plants), linear uvb(CFL are useless, dont cover enough space), and considering I don't see a drainage set up there should be much more misting. Fill out the cage, chameleons climb trees, they want to be able to get high up. Also do you have a laying bin ready for your female?

No bin right now she just had a clutch of eggs 8 days ago but my friend had her then. But I will grab her more plants I've only had her since friday I wanted her to get used to the house in her old setup before I changed everything around. She's had a rough week or so didn't want to add to it.

Add more immediately, no need to wait. She’s terrified in her enclosure because she has only a couple places(which are far to low) to hide. You should have a hard time finding her when you look at the enclosure. Also, time for a new enclosure all together. Having a 10 gallon aquarium bottom sounds like a great idea, but there is no airflow at the base of the cage. When you start misting adequately, that water is gonna add up and create a lot of mold/mildew due to poor ventilation. As stated above, please get rid of the coil UVB, it really is useless and possibly dangerous. Since there is so much wrong with the husbandry already, I really recommend you fill out the questionnaire and post it. I have a strong feeling there are more issues with the care provided. I don’t mean to be offensive, but you have a very small window to fix these things before permanent damage takes effect.

Yea I noticed the water in the bottom and I dont really like the tank as a base either. I'll change the bulbs and get more sticks and plants tomorrow. I want to give her what she needs. This is the set up she's been in since she was a baby. Any other tips will be greatly appreciated.

Step one is complete I know its bare right now but more pants will be added tomorrow and I'm working on getting a linear uv. I was having trouble with her turning black when she was in the cage but now she's green all the time, so I think she's digging it. What do you guys think so far.

That’s better but be careful with having vines close to the lights. They will burn themselves without realizing. Try getting long branches/sticks and running them straight across about 10 inches from the top of the cage

You also need to set up a hang out spot under the heat lamp that is more horizontal

Yea I know I'm going to rearrange the vines so she can be close to the lamp. I was worried about the plant when I was putting them in there and did t realize her basking alot was screwy that'll be fixed tomorrow.

Heat source and uvb should be close together so he will get uvb while basking.
I'd also change to T5 lighting for uvb.
Make sure the distance between animal and uvb/basking spot is 8-12inch

The mat on the bottom is also garbage, it will become a breedingground for bacteria. Better keep it bare or covered with paper towels that you can easily dispose.
