toe nails on a Jackson

I have 1 year 7 month old chameleon his toe nails are pretty long do the shorten there nails by them self or do i have to do it for him or take him to a vet??

We don't shorten their nails at all. They use them to climb, just let them be. If a vet offers to shorten them then they don't know much about chameleons.

My guy has super long ones, but they don't seem to be a problem. So leave the nails be
