Chameleon info:
Your chameleon: Veiled
Feeding: Mainly crickets, few mealworms, silkworms.
Handling: virtually none
Supplements: Ca dust almost every day, Ca w/ Vit. D3 every other monday and multivitamins the other mondays
Watering: Dripping through most the day, with warm water misting
Fecal description: healthy, hydrated
Cage info:
Type: all screen, 36 X 18 X 18
Lighting: Heat light and fluorescent lighting; gets to upper 80's (needs to be higher probably)
Plants: no live plants, yet
Placement: corner of my room, little traffic goes through here
Location: Central Kentucky
Problem: Recently I have noticed a new habit when he is eating. After a few strikes with his tongue that always hit their mark, his tongue begins to curve upwards right out of his mouth. He ends up having to get very close to the food item in order to hit it. I am not sure what is causing this, if anyone has any suggestions, please help!
