Hello to everyone, my chameleon 1,5 years has problem with tongue. Recently we have noticed that it shoots to a distance of about 3 cm. The tongue does not seem to be injured rather the muscle is flaccid. Can anyone advise what can cause this?
Terrarium size 60x45x90 , Temperatures (bulb 50W) under heat during the day 29-30 °C and from 9:00 till 15:00 , Arcadia jungle Dawn LED bar from 08:00 till 19:00 , UVB Arcadia PRO T5 UVB 6% 24w from 08:00 till 19:00. Humidity during the day aprox. 35-40% during the night 60%. Feeding only crickets one per day with vitamins (arcadia system) A,A,A,C,A,A,A,D3..... UVB is in distance 30cm from chameleon.
