I believe I read that it is about twice the length of their body. I'm not sure if there is anything to look for color wise, but as long as he's shooting at insects fine, I wouldn't worry too much. Beautiful little guy you have there by the way!

Do you know about supplements, proper feeding/gutloading the insects, appropriate temperatures, proper UVB light?
I understand that the tongue is as long as the body, tip of nose to tip of tail.
I read 1.5 and 2.2 x the length of their body. We may never know.....I've always read that their tongue musclature can stretch to those lengths, not that the structure itself is that long. Maybe I need to refresh my memory.
