I took out my 2 month old veiled chameleon outside and the temp. reads 92, I have the thermometer inside her cage. is it to hot for her?

I think I can be of some help here as I live in 100 degrees all summer :) Here in Dallas my guys LOVE sun but obviously it is too hot to keep them outside... What I do it what your doing... Part shade... The real challenge is you need to know their body language to know when its time to stop... If they start venting, time to go inside... Just be sure to keep the cage wet and mist VERY frequently (up to every 30 minutes) to keep the internal temps lower... I keep a three month old outside for up to an hour a day and he LOVES it... He freaks out when I put him back inside, climbing ALL OVER the cage as if screaming let me out, let me out, let me out.... Hope that helps

It does, thank you so much. I also live in high temps during the summer I'll make sure to keep an eye on her. Thanks.
