Answer what you can please:)

(1)I just got back from walmart and found a 24inch fixture. I wanted to know before I opened it if its the right kind.
I bought two, one for uv and one for the 6500k tube.
They are both 24inch undercabinet lights. 75w light output. Model 7020 E.
-So did I do the right thing by buying two 24inch fixtures?
-Will they work?

(2) I have an umbrella plant (schefflera) that is around 10 years old. Its tall and full of leaves.
-Could I put this in a 4 foot tall mesh screen cage instead of a ficus?
-Should I also hang a well grown out potho?

(3) When can I move Charlie into this 4 foot tall cage? He is around 4 months old.
-I do have everything expect for some more branches and a reptisun 10.0, which I am getting asap

(4) What is wrong with a "reptiglo" 10.0 tube uv for a chameleon?

Thanks for reading and please try to help me.
I also have a new addition. Its a bearded dragon named Fred:)

I would recommend as much cover from live plants as possible. They hold humidity better, plus water beads off the live plants better than fake. Fake Is nice to cover up vines and or wrap around them. Schefflera's are great plants I have one that thrives very well outside, that is about 8 years old. Seems they always die on me inside cages, same outcome with ficus's.

Well 4 months he is still fairly young. You could move him into the 4 footer, just watch his food and water intake. Sometimes younger chams struggle to find food in the bigger cages.

As For the reptisun 10.0 i would not recommend it. Stick with the reptisun 5.0. It has worked best with chameleons and alot of keeper here will say the same.

Good luck with your little guy,
Chris

I had a reptiglo 10.0 but changed it for the 5.0 coz read the 10.0 was too bright on his eyes. Also bought a huge pothos for my cham to climb on when hes not in the cage but was horrified when he fell off. the branches were good and thick with big leaves but couldn't support the weight of my cham and as he climbed the leaf dropped and he fell off. Luckily he was ok. Pothos secured to something is good though.

Haven't done anything to do with what you have asked in number one, But can answer the other three.

(2) Does it look like the picture in attachment #1? Or #2? If #1, then it would be fine.
(3) I would say around 6 months of age
(4) Not as powerful as a Reptisun; Meaning you'd have replace it more often.

He is probably pushing 5months. Um I don't free range crickets often. I use a container and hold it up to him. Also he loves drinking, I would probably make the dripper very visible

I was told a reptisun 10.0 from someone else here. I will get a reptisun 5.0 but what is wrong with a "reptiglo" 5.0??

Nothing is wrong with the Repti-glo.
The Repti-sun is a superior light, however.
It will definitely be effective for a longer time.

I was told a repti-glo lasts about 6 months. Does reptisun last longer? I just assumed it was a different brand but didn't think either had a longer life.

He has a reptarium. The 10.0 will be fine and I would get a reptisun. 24 inches is kind of short for a 30 inch long enclosure.
