Too Much Pothos?

I bought two 6” Pothos plants from Home Depot back in January and they did not grow at all. I then bought a big one from Etsy and it has done great with growing long trailing vines for climbing and made a cool looking canopy area. BUT I was at my local nursery today and saw the monster of all Pothos plants for $50.00 and I had to have it. As long as I keep things elevated off the floor and remove them to clean periodically this should be fine, right? The lay bin can be tucked in the back right to give her privacy. I’m also adding back some horizontal branches. She’s looking so pretty these past few months and I’m glad she still trusts me to hold her!

Yep I just cleaned her lay bin by washing the sand to remove any debris. A couple poops dropped in there and it really stunk. It’s draining now and I’ll put it back in tonight!

I'm just going to say that you can never have enough Pothos lol, I had to split mine due to size.

It seems like the new plant is much lighter than the Hawaiian Pothos up top. Maybe rapid growth means paler leaves?

Just be careful because pothos can harbor mealy bugs, something I learned the hard way and am still dealing with. I bought a similar huge pothos once and was thrilled until I realized that it was totally infested. I ripped it out and now only do plants. You can easily propigate pothos - just snip off an end and put in some water to develop roots. Also, if you have a plant that's straggly, just trim it back and it'll grow thicker and bushier in no time.
