Too much water?

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me? The soil in my bib is soaked! Would this be down to over spraying? All the soil is sloppy, any ideas on what to do?

How often are you misting and for how long per session?

Maybe think about not spraying as much?

Did you mean your VIV? If you have soil in the bottom, it needs to drain someplace. What's the cage bottom and sides made out of? Glass? Pics of your setup would really help. The soil will eventually get stagnant, moldy, and full of bacteria (feces, urates, etc) so you do need to drain it or provide a deep percolation layer.

Repotting with a better draining soil could help, too. Make sure the container has plenty of drainage, and try and layer of gravel int he bottom so any water will run through rather than turning to mud and clogging up.

Thanks for the help. I have sorted it now. It was just me not thinking.
