Oh ok Thankyou I’m just now noticing itLooks like a thermal burn injury... With veileds because of how high their casques are we have to be particularly careful with the wattage of heat lamps we use and how close they sit to them.....
When did this happen? You need silver sulfadiazine cream for it to keep it from getting infected and for it to heal properly. Typically this requires a vet trip to get a prescription. This is what your needing https://www.1800petmeds.com/Silver+Sulfadiazine+Cream+1%+-prod10675.html

I would not use hydrogen peroxide. Neosporin regular kind without the added pain med in it, can be used as a temporary treatment. But you really need the other ointment as it helps treat the infection and the actual burn. @kinyonga your thoughts here please. Will hydrogen peroxide and Neilasporn work?
Ok I posted themCan you please post more pics and at different angles so we can see more? Then post the last pic you have showing his casque so we can see what the loss is?
Yeah hun that is a bad thermal burn. You need to get him into a reptile vet and get the cream I posted.Ok I posted them

Can we review your distances from basking to heat bulb? Also what wattage do you use?
Here is his cageI use a 100 watt and the picture shows how close the bulb is
Ok well do thank you for the suggestions! So from looking at that it seems like the branch is about 5 inches away. It is too close. You want to drop that basking branch down so you have a 9 inch distance. And you want to lower your wattage. What temps are you getting at basking? He really does not need anything warmer then 85 max.
Are you using the screw in UVB bulb as well? If so you will want to upgrade to the T5HO fixture that runs the width of that cage and use a 5.0 uvb bulb. This will also require a distance of 9 measured inches from the closest branch to the top screen where the fixture sits. compact bulbs do not put out the right levels of UVB or disperse it far enough. So chams will develop MBD not having the correct UVB lighting.
Also you could create a much more appealing home for him by using Live plants and taking out all the fake ones. Veileds will eat their plants and fake ones pose a risk for impaction. If you plant them in clay pots and have them sitting on the floor it will help absorb some of the water from the mister as well.
