Hey does any one know where i can get a trans. female veiled chameleon for a cheap low price like under 100 maybe. i like them a lot and want the female to be bred with a regular and have some trans babies. any info would be cool.

The only place i have found trans are on fl chams, and thye wre 200.

Ive looked for trans chams and cant find ne others than fl chams. only thing i can suggest is find out if a reptile show is coming near you. and who the vendors are, mabe you can pick one up there.

Maybe you can call fl chams and ask them if they have any in the pattern you want.

those trans chams are next to impossible to find for 100 dollars..they are pretty breed specific, like a toy dog..bred just for a characteristic..good luck finding one that cheap.

maybe you can find one online as an adoption, maybe someone will be getting rid of it thinking its ugly, or has some new kind of lizard disease, lol

I doubt you could find a translucent for under $100...good luck with that. If you do make sure it has all functioning body parts

You can try http://zillerreptiles.com/veiled-chameleons.html to see if he has any available, he is from the Midwest. For 100 dollars you may be able to find a low end which can be ugly. Just thought I would share this link. It does not matter who it is I have heard the complaints, the question was is their any truth to what is being said about the breeding and ratio of hatchling from high end, low end, normal veileds. TIKI easy man!

Hey well you get what you pay for...chams are expensive to keep and even more expensive to breed just like any animal. It's better to pay more money and get a higher quality cham, then well, one with unfunctioning body parts

Most people that are breeding want to get the high end to start a breeding project. That way if you can improve the captured born population, not pollute it with low quality sick chameleons. Save your money and buy a good, health chameleon to breed.

I LOL'ed to your 'unfunctioning body parts' awesomely funny.

Side note, I think trans are awesome, but again, you get what you pay for. I actually think 200 from fl chams is relatively cheap for the mutation, yes its a veieled, but its a freaky one, I call it the frankenstein cham. Granted, I paid 50 bucks for my male veiled, but i know the people who bred them and buy all my marine stuff from them.
