my cham hated my green finger nails, and some chams hate a particular color, but usually.. not black.

i have read that jacksons do not like it when you where black around them because it is a sign of stress

Mine dont care about black. Several of them do, however, very much dislike red and hot pink.

I dont think that they dont like black. I mean, it's not like it's flashing in their faces, like say a really bright orange or yellow, or red... jmo

My chams really don't like bright orange and red.

Mine is the same way. i have a hibiscus in his enclosure and when one of the flowers blooms I have to cut it off because he absolutely hates the color!

its hard to think that colors could change mood in your cham but chameleons are the most visually reliant out of all animals and they communicate through visual cues conveyed by color changes and of course posture. so it could be possible that certain colors bother certain species of chameleon, Jacksons turn black twhen stressed, so black is a visual cue of stress to them. to a panther the color distinction would obviously be a lot different.. im just sayin
