Turkey Baster 2 - Crickets 0!!

I noticed that Monty's food cup was empty, then I saw that there were two small crickets roaming the bottom of his viv. Well, I want them back in the cup but I didn't want to take everything out of his viv to get them. Then I had an idea! I got the turkey baster and sucked the errant crickets up and put them back in the cup! :D It worked a treat, lol! The things we do for our googly eyed scaly babies, lol! :rolleyes:
 
Just remember to clean it before the sunday roast gets a good basting, LOL (great idea) :D

I don't actually use it for basting! I use it to suck the water up out of the bottom of the freezer when I defrost it! I think I've actually only used it once as a baster, lol!:D

It's called Woods Creek Grille and it's in Jonestown. I'll send you a PM. Here is their link. It is owned by really great people, Dave and Rebecca. Dave is into big game taxidermy and all kinds of funky stuff. He had a pet alligator at one time, not sure if he still has it.

good idea tiff ive been chasing a cricket around my dermensis cage for the last two days as he is too big LoL, dont tell the GF im taking the turkey baster tho :)
 
What a fantastic idea...using a turkey baster to suck up crickets! Wish I'd thought of that years ago! I'm going out to buy an extra one just for that!
