Turqouise Veiled Cham

So i just bought a juvenile veiled cham. Had him for a few days and Ive only seen him somewhat turqouise once. Most of the time hes either green or a brown color. His yellows are always there.

Just wondering when I can expect him to be fully turqouise??

I'm not an expert but i think their adult colors take a little over a year to be fully developed. Keep in mind theres no guarantee the'll fit the description the seller told you or even look just like the parent. By the time your cham is an adult you won't even care.

how olds your cham? they start show there colours around 6month old and will take up to a year old to come out in all its colours mines abwt a year and half old you can have alook if you like in my album on my profile:)

Appreciate the help guys. Iggy is about 3 months old. Its great seeing him finally start to acclimate to his surroundings a little bit. I think hes still a bit shy. Hes a little hesitant to lket me hold him. Any tips?

Chameleons aren't really handle-able pets. I only handle mine at most once a week for a quick once over. I use a stick to get mine out.

FLCHAMS.com....i actually first bought theveiledchameleon.com but it turned out to be a complete scam!

Yea. Mike, the owner seemed like a real nice guy. Good price so I went for it.

Julirs- I have some questions...for the reptivite...whats the diference between w/ d3 and w/out?

Yep-Mike is a nice guy!

You don't want to over-vitamin-D your cham. I personally use Repcal with no D3 every feeding (Most of my crew is adult and being fed every other day), I use Calcium with D3 once montly (my guys get FL sun-but most are mostly indoors) and Reptivite with D3 once monthly.

For babies I use the Reptivite about once weekly up until about 6 months or so.
