its coming out next week on vday for all you love sick love birds. I for one will be playing this game and I already go this preordered and payed off. so if you wanna roll hit a brotha up on ps3 and send me a BFF request gt is TakeItBentOver and send me an im to let me know who it is or i'll just ignore it. all i can say is i'm syked about this its been a long time since they came out with one and after seeing the trailers i am super power ranger pumped for this and yes that mean super pumped about it. the trailers actually made me a little wet like right now just thinking about playing this beast it might kill my addiction for mw3 and even nazi zombies on black ops!!!

Well your gamestop kid is full of bs this game is coming out on tuesday so that means no vday celebration for me nothing but str8 gaming this beast and im soooo excited for it!!!
 
first game thread ive seen. TM looks interesting but i have been so disappointed with the last couple that im not getting too excited over this one.

wow small world i guess, cham lovers who also play MGO, especially 4 years later im surprised to see the remoteness of this happening, u guys play often?

No, I dont play often anymore. I just recently got back into it.
I have been severly dissapointed with ALL games that have been coming out these days.
I mostly stick with the oldies. I went back and played FFVII again, and every console zelda from SNES up recently:D
I played MW3 some, but got tired of it very quickly. Its an alright game for what it is and all, and Ill still play it, but MGO is just so much better.
Im a huge MG fan.
Skyrim has occupied me for a while as well.
Been trying to get alan to play with me.
There have only been like 200 people on the NA server since I started again. How often do you play?
 
your screenname tells me how much u love MGS :) . There are so many good games out these days imo, the industry keeps growing. I only buy maybe 2 games year(if even that) average, so im kinda on the low side of the spectrum, but mgo is my fav game, and i play a few times a week. the last FPS i bought was blackops and i traded that with a friend for AC brotherhood and never thought twice about it, most of these FPS all feel the same and get boring quickly, MGO has stood the test of time with me.

i'm always online when i'm not at work either on xbox or ps3 yeah im a big mgs fan too and next week when i get my taxes ima be getting the mgs series rebuff but twisted metal is going to be sick i'm glad they decided to do more with it and hold back on the release date till now its going to be epic. most people that don't like cod is because they suck at it. i use to be big in bad company but got hooked on mw2 online zombies rocked and mw3 grew on me and i love it more then the velvet tacos of a lovely female. but ps3 i love resistant and socom and killzone!!!

I honestly hadnt heard about TM until you posted this. Ive been looking at videos and it seems like it could be fun online for sure. Ill probably wind up trying it.
The MGS HD re-release is not bad. I havnt played much into the MGS2-MGS3 versions, but it was the first time I played PW and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit more than I thought I would.
I played black ops heavily when it came out, as it was really the only new thing going at the time, and alot of people I know where playing it. It just gets SO REPETATIVE. I can definitely have a bit of fun with COD. It just doesnt satisfy me. Skyrim impressed me, its sketchy as hell on PS3, but its fairly thorough all around. An excellent time waster:cool:
Im really not excited about MGS Rising. Im pretty fed up with where Kojima has taken things at this point. IMO it all just went down hill after the original MGS. Thats to be expected really, I mean, how do you follow that up?:rolleyes:

It did go down hill at WAY less of a gradient than most series. I give Kojima respect for that.
MGS2 fit in nicely, and I can respect it as a MG game. MGS3 was enjoyable, but by far the most annoying of the series. They reached a bit on that one, and spread themselves too thin for the first time.(which IMO obviously messed with their confidence) I appreciate it for the storyline, but some of the game play, and "outlandishness" ruined it for me. I rate it as "acceptable".
The first MGO was OUTSTANDING. I LOVED it.
MGS4 well, really, I think they did a great job all things considered. My main issue with the games after MGS was that they kept pushing the "supernatural" aspects of the story. In MGS, Psycho Mantis, Raven, and Decoy Octopus, were all blatant unrealistic aspects in the story. However I feel that the "ridiculousness" was kept to a minimum, and they helped give a "darker" feel to the story, making it even more epic. Thats just how it came across. After that, the whole "supernatural" thing started to become a cop-out, and/or just overused. There are quite a few people that feel they patched all the inconsistencies with "nano-machines", and they frown upon it. I like where they took that aspect of the story line. That doesnt really bother me any more than REX being made from advanced machinery. I just think they should have focused more on the "realistic" aspects of the game. It would have made for much cleaner, more in-depth games.
I played MGS4 thinking of it as it was the end of the main storyline, thats what it was supposed to be. Thats what it was made to be. No more MGS, there will still be MG says Kojima, but MGS storyline is over. But then they go and make MGS PW, and Rising. I havnt kept "in the know" since MGS4, but I dont like the way they are taking things, and it wasnt his original intention to steer it in this direction. So for me, MGS was over at MGS4, which was a decently long, in-depth, all around solid game. Even if it was a bit "mass-marketized".
Any thing else that comes out just reaches outside the bounds of what MGS is to me.
Thats all on MGS.
I epic loved the first Killzone! Me and my brother played it endlessly! It was great online to, until all the hackers took over. I didnt like Killzone2, but I didnt give it much of a chance I guess. Never played the whole campaign, just a bit online. ;/
Anyhow, I need to mix another drink. Sry about the rant. :\
 
I love rage too thats a good game but it sucks cause if you don't save oftenly you can get far into it and when you die you go all the way back to the last local save or yours so you gotta do it all over again. i'm a huge socom junky i have all the games for it to. don't like skyrim or any oblivian game if i play an rpg i gotta do it on a pc or mac thats just my prefrence. resistance was a good story line too for ps3 but playing the new one it kinda ruined it for me i wish they hadn't killed of hale. but then again i havenn't got that far into it yet cause people either text or send me invites for mw3 and i put it in to play. Im a huge zombie fan on black ops i love and can play those games all damn day and night. on xbox i was a huge fan of fan of halo the story line odst kinda ruined it for me but reach made me fall in love all over again. not much for the online multi player. gears of war is sick and i love playing that game. also a huge fan of army of two i wish they would come out with a new one. old school games i'm a doom and quake junky. but all in all my favorite games to play is the fear series its the only game i won't play at night i got all of them both for pc and xbox greatest series ever.
 
Lol, fear is good. I wouldnt call it scary. Silent Hill is freakin scary! :D:eek: The only good time to play it is at nite! Freakin creeps me out! I played the first few socoms, havnt checked one out since then:eek:
 
im seriously thinking about getting both resident evil games coming out this year they both look sick and bad ass i'm glad they are making it multi player thats gonna be fun sorry but silent hill sucked
