Twizzie's New outdoor enclosure

Here is Twizzles new outdoor cage, it hangs up high and gets half sun half shade. I put a dripper on top so he has constant water. Next I need a Mister...
He also had a really good shed and is looking oh so pretty.
Twizz really seems to enjoy his new spot.

I like the cage, is it a flexarium? Where did you get it?

I really have to get a mist system.

That color will show up if it's been a few days since last elimination.

ok thanks, yea his eyes look good not sunken or anything. That poo was from the day bf he shed and before that was a couple days.

i was looking at one of those explorium things for my cham, i foundone thats 24 by 36 on LLL for 55$ are they any good ? any down sides and up sides you could share ?

so when it rains, are you going to take the heat lamp inside and leave him outside? I am sure in the wild they are not brought "inside" when it is raining =P Plus it would put a good covering of water on the enclosure.

It's not worth you ordering from LL .. you have stores in Toronto that will order it for you and you don't have to pay shipping costs. Come on now! lol They are based in the States!!

Sorry, my mistake. Last elimination meaning the last poo? Why does it turn orange? Can the urate be used as an accurate determination of the hydration of your chameleon then? Is there a better way to tell?

Sunken eyes is a sign of severe dehydration. That would most likely be together with an orange poo. If the tip is orange, it's okay. If it's all orange, it is a hydration issue.

Im a cham noob too but I find that my Twizz actually likes the hanging one bc I think he really likes being up high. he sleeps inside, in the evenings I bring him in and he sleeps on a hanging pothos from the ceiling. Its really warm here now so he can be outside all day. I looove this enclosure personally, its much better than a reg cage imo

I bring him in at night, it doesnt rain much here but if it did and it is warm enough id leave him out during the day. If it got too cold Id bring him in.
I havent had to use heat lamps since Ive had this new enclosure its been warm enough without.
