Two black spots near back leg

Hello! I noticed these two black spots on Cassidy’s body near his back leg. Thoughts? Thinking maybe he scratched himself on a stick… He is currently shedding. Thanks in advance! @JacksJill

I zoomed in as far as I could but can only guess bruise, burn or wounds. I would apply a little triple antibiotic ointment (Neosporin) for the first and third. Another good thing to have on hand is silver sulfadiazine cream for burns and wounds.

Does he hang out upside down on the screen near the basking lamp?

Thank you! He does not ever hang from the screen or crawl on the top of the cage. He used to when I first got him but definitely not his common practice! I’ll do some neosporin and order the other stuff! Thanks

If it's a bruise it will slowly disappear.

Thank you! Will definitely keep a good eye on it! He is a sensitive boy (lol kind of like the Texas Chainsaw guy) so don’t want to bring him to the vet if it’s a simple thing. Will definitely bring him if it worsens or doesn’t improve! Thanks for the help!
