I have two, four month old, male, veiled chameleons. They are solitary when there adults and there not fighting yet, so how long can i keep them both in the same cadge while there babies???

I am trying to sell one of them, how long can they be in the same cadge together?

Not long - male panthers are very territorial and will fight any Cham in their space. Mine will go after my Meller's and he's easily 3 times his size. You may want to come up with some sort of enclosure until you sell one - I've had lots of luck at thrift stores getting temporary cages for super cheap. I use bird cages usually, and usually pay less than $10. Otherwise keep a close eye on them. They won't sell for much if they are all bruised and scratched.

I bought my femaile veiled from a reptile shop that told me because she was only about 3 months old it would be fine to put another in with her and she was my first chameleon so i took there advise and got a boy about the same size as her, after a few days i noticed a mark on his side and i didnt know what this was so i uploaded it to this forum were i was told he had been bitten by the female and i separated them as soon as i found out!! I had to put him in a plastic fish tank until i could buy him a new enclosure and i also noticed a kink in his tail after he had been moved:( so she had bitten his tail aswell! He was realy scared and shy for a few weeks if i even went near him he would bolt!! But fanks to the advise of the people on this forum he is now very healthy and happy and loves to come out!! And fortunetly there was no permenant damage:D
