Update: 5 month Ambilobe

This guy is as feisty as they come. His reds are starting to really kick in now.
He is now about 5 months old and has been bobbing at females since about 4 1/2 months. Never seen anything quite like it.

Let me know what you all think.

Thanks Rob! He is the first "Sunfire" male that made it out there. This guy was the size of a 3 month old at 2 months when I got him. Kind of reminds of your George.

Well for starters I have been finding sperm plugs since he was 4 months. He is the only Cham that has actually charged across his enclosure and bitten me. Wasnt even near him. He will flash his turrets and head bob for 2 days if he sees a female.

Looks like he should be the icon for the ambilobe locale!

Thanks Bemus... Your guy is all lit up in that pic. He doesn't seem to have the red lines outlining his bars like mine. Subtle differences. He is awesome. You can tell that they are brothers. They do have some good genes. My guy is going to be paired up soon. Should be some great offspring.

He may be... But you never know. One of my males was a slow grower and didn't look anything like his lineage until hit about 20 months and them bam he started turning it up and now he is one of my favorites and looks a lot like his dad. Ya never know.
