Update: My 4 Panther Boys All Grown Up (Lots of Pictures)

Hey all, just an update on my boys. The perfect NJ weather has allowed me to bring all of them out for sun almost everyday and they are loving it.

First up is King Koby, my Ambanja. He is approximately 9 months old now and he's been a joy to have. He is the chill one of the group and has never puffed up or attempted to bite me. I've never seen him aggressive or fired up... nothing seems to phase his cool and collected personality.

RobMD, JannB, and RobyRango thank you guys very much for the kind words. I love Koby very much and hope to find a girlfriend for him in the future.

Next up is Karthus, also an Ambanja, and a little over 1 year old now. He is my biggest cham at almost 19 inches from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. I was told panthers only shed parts of their body once they reach adult size, but Karthus gave me a full body shed about a week ago so I think he may continue to grow bigger. Karthus is the one with attitude, ever since he was a baby he has been the pissy one of the family, and I love that about him.

Next up is Knuckles AKA Nucky, my Nosy Faly. Nucky is around 9 months old and has chilled out quite a bit. He used to be a feisty one when he was younger, but now it seems he has calmed down a little bit and become friendlier (still scared to handle him without gloves though lol).

And last but not least, my first and favorite cham... ACE! He is a BB ambilobe and approaching 2 years old. He is the most outgoing and friendly cham I own and loves to be held. When people get close to his cage he runs to the front and begs to be let out constantly. I had no idea such a little creature could have so much personality, and he continues to be a joy to be with. Recently his hobbies include sitting on my shoulder/head/arm while I play online poker... I SWEAR he's my good luck charm. He's the one who got me started in the chameleon hobby, and my favorite part of the day is waking up in the morning and seeing his little face while I clean out his cage. My friends and family love him and he is the star of the show whenever I have company over. Unfortunately, he had a penchant of rubbing off the tips of his back spikes when he was younger, so he is missing quite a few back spikes in his recent pictures.

Thanks for the kind words maxttu! It's funny how attached we become to these little lizards Seems like just yesterday I ordered my first panther online...and now my house is overrun with chams and feeders. What an addicting hobby...lol

Wow all four of your boys are absolutely and down right handsome! I love all of their coloring, and they all look so well taken care of. Great job growing them from little babies into handsome young men lol . I want a Panther Chameleon so bad

Great Panthers!! The purple on Koby are phenominal. Some of the best purple I have ever seen on an Ambanja. Ambanja's are #1 in my book.

I must agree, ambanjas have slowly become my favorite locale in terms of looks. Nothing beats a cham with a sweet personality though, no matter what locale or species!
