He's come a long way and now I can actually get him out of the cage without him trying to eat me.

im glad your cham isnt trying to eat you anymore :D i have to ask...in the last picture you have posted i think i see the dirt in the plant and it looks like it has those little white foamy pieces in it(perlite) if i am correct in what i think i am seeing i have to mention that in my opinion the dirt should be changed out and new organic soil added and this should also be covered by some rocks big enough to hide the dirt so the cham cant injset any of it when shooting at crickets or other insects or even immaginary bugs(it happens) i am just concerned because i had my oldest cham injest a tiny tiny piece of perlite that i had missed when washing away the soil the plant came from the store in.he almost died,it was a very touch and go situation for a few days..so if i am mistaken please accept my appology but if i am correct please for the sake of your cham remove the old soil and repot with organic soil(no pesticides or perlite) and cover the soil...just a health warning!! :)

Those are'nt perlite... I did repot with organic and have'nt put the river rocks back in the pic. Thanks for the concern!

He such a prissy chameleon. He won't eat free ranged cricket, only from the cup. He does eat the hornworms off the vines. This guy hangs upside down in front of the mister and lets the water drip down to his mouth. He only sleeps in one spot and won't eat off the cup if I put it in a different spot.

Chameleons definately takes some work to keep, unlike my bearded dragon that eats everything and poos in one spot of the cage. I've had him since he was just a little baby and if it was'nt for all the knowledgable people here, I don't think I would've been able to keep him so healthy.

HAPPY 4TH! BE SAFE OUT THERE!

He's looking good, and he's only going to get more comfortable with you now.......you do just have to work around a Chameleons habits though :)
