update on sully

well had him 4 days now.
hes doing good and settling very well.
drinking everytime i mist.hes started eating now but wont touch the crickets and will only eat locust.

its weird.hes totally friendly and loves to climb all over me but he will not eat from my hand yet?
he doesnt get stressed by it,he just sits there and watches the food.as soon as i pop it on a branch,whammm he strikes lol

im not worried about that.i just expected it to be the other way around thats all.

he walks along the vine at the top asking to come out & if i dont open the door he will climb all the way down to the bottom and sit there till i open the door haha.

i took him to have a quick look out of my window in my garden earlier.he seemed to like it.sat on my hand very calm and had a good look around.
im only letting him out for 5-10mins at a time.
its all on his terms and i never get him out on my own accord.

i have not seen 1 sign of stress and thats good.

Super Nosy Be! He's a looker for sure. Gotta love those yellows too! I'm glad he's so easy going with you. I'm sure he will be eating out of your hands soon.

He will LOVE that garden too when the weather permits. How is there weather there where you are? I lived in Fairford for about 5 years. I loved England. I will definitely return.

Sully is so beautiful! Did you know how old he is? & Does he have specks of red? Curious because my Nosy Be is ab 3-5 months now, showing lots of blue color for his age but has lots of red speckles which has made me wonder if perhaps he's a faly. Only time will tell.

yes i knew he was 5 months old.he does show some red specks too sometimes.

the weather is poor where i am atm.rain,rain & more rain.just glad my house stays really warm.

well sully ate a locust from my hand this morning.im very happy,but he was sitting on my hand when he done it.

how can i get him to eat crickets? he just wants locust.
the breeder used to feed him crickets.shall i stop giving him locusts?


so far im just leaving a few crickets in a feeder pot,hoping he will eat them.no luck yet.
i still cant quite believe i own such a magnificent creature.i feel very privilegedx
