Hi everyone!

A few days ago, I posted about my chameleon having MBD, the people who commented asked me to keep everyone up to date with what is happening with her. So, since Friday, (when she was diagnosed with MBD) she has gained back her strength a little, not enough to climb, but enough to crawl around a little bit. She has been a little more resistant toward food, but she is still eating. The last 2 days she has been trying to climb her leaves, but is continuing to fall :( She has been getting 10-15 minutes of sunlight everyday, and is seeming to be getting better everyday. She is slowly getting her energy back, which is good.

Well, that's all I have right now:)

I read your other thread, im glad you were able to get her to a vet.

What calcium are you using? brand

What state are you in? what are the daily temps?

As someone said, UVB doesn't pass through glass.

I would get a tube syle UVB bulb, preferably a 10.0. you can get it for like 25 bucks at a petsmart.

I know you don't want to feed her the carnivore care, but if you make it a bit watery, you can just pull the lip down a bit, and inject a tiny bit into the lips instead. (I just used this myself for my nosey be)

You can get calciworms/ reptiworms from petco.

I am using Flukers Calcium Dust.

I'm not really comfortable giving out the state that I live in, but the average temperatures right now range from 50-60 degrees.

And, yeah, my UVB passes through mesh screens. Also, she is taking the Carnivore Care fine right now, but if I notice she is having trouble eating it, I will definitely water it down:) Thank you:p

I would try the repashy all in one calcium plus. which oyu can buy from the repashy website.

if temps get above 70 at all you can put her in direct sunlight outside.

telling us your state wont make it easier to find you just fyi. ;)

Thank you! I will look for it:) And yeah, haha, it just makes me nervous:p

Im so glad she's doing better! :) have you considered maybe moving the vines so she can't reach them or even taking them out until she's strong enough? I mean, if she's falling it might be better
