Okay so earlier on i was asking if it was male or female and around how old and I've still been undecided and I've just decided to wait it out and see when my cham gets older. My guess and what the breeder said was male, about 2-3 months old. heres some pics of today, like 5 min ago. When I first got my cham, and his body(not tail included) was 2 in long now look how only one month has done. any info or comments are greatly appreciated. I still havent picked a name. If you look in the last few pics the blues are really comming through. the colors have been looking really bright and noticable.looking really nice I think. Enjoy

Just so you know it is a male. And it looks like he is going to be a very colorful one at that. What local is he? I'm guessing ambilobe or ambanja but leaning towards ambilobe. Congrats on the nice male.

are you SURE thats a male? i would say female. Not saying you are wrong, just from the coloring looks like a female.

no its male..the colrs seem too bright compared to females..plus i think some of the pics i see a decent bump on the base of the tail

thanks, I'm happy and I believe its a male also but I'm keeping an open mind and if it is a female I'm still happy. I'm not sure what local he is the breeder said His mom was Ambilobe from FL Chams and his Dad was either Ambanja or Ambilobe...so he will look very nice when older. He does have a bump on base of tail but i didnt really focus on that in the pics...Ill try next time

LOL, thats funny.
So hes looking healthy i think but he eats alot. I toss in about a dozen crickets and when i notice their gone i put in about a dozen more and he seems to want more sometimes. how many should i let free roam in his cage i dont want them all over him to freak him out? his cage is 2'x2'x4' I've just been doing the 3 week old crickets. sometimes he can eat less then a dozen sometimes he wants more then that a day. I'm just not exactually sure how many he sould be eating and i dont want to over/under feed him. thanks

How big are these crickets? I would probably stop free feeding now. Use appropriately size crickets and whatever he doesn't eat in 3-5 minutes you should remove. That's all he gets for the day.

their usually around about 3/8-1/2 inch size I'm not a good guesser at size heres a chart thing. but he could just keep eatin and wants ti so just give a few and let him be.Normally when he wants more he will actually climb on door and want to come out and he would just climb right out and if i show a cricket he wants to eat it but I'll try just watch him and see what happends next time. hes a lil slow and doesnt just sit and eat he will eat one or two then about 30 min later he will eat another 1 or 2 then its like that all day but i work 9-12 hr shifts and just have put a dozen in and when im home their gone. is this bad? plz any info will help thanks again
