I have upgraded Raptor's and Penny's cages. They went from 16x16x30 to 18x18x36. I was hoping to get a 24x24x48 for my male but I don't have enough space for it. :( I hope the size I got will be enough or I will be having to move some things around in the future. Any how I have a ZooMed LED/UVB combo fixture along with 2 jungle dawn LEDs to aid in plant growth. I found that the ZooMed LED was not producing enough light for my plants. I am using 50 watt basking bulbs. I have a mist king. For plants I am using ficus, pothos, and a money tree. Any suggestions would be helpful as I am always looking for ways to improve my cages for these wonderful animals!! Well here are some pics.

From my understanding it's a minimum requirement for the boys to have a 24x24x48 to be happy in as they Roam more. But how do you like the ficus? I'm not a fan of them I think they are too sensitive and don't provide enough foliage. If you wanted to try something else I use dwarf umbrella plants in the middle of my cage with some pothos plants and it covers nicely

You are correct that the boy needs more space, in fact the minimum is a cage over 2'x2'x4' for a male panther.

Hmmm I didn't know that I was planning on building a new enclosure for my two panthers that were going to be 2x2x4 each one female and one male
