What colour are his urates? White, slight tinge of yellow, orange?
Is he drinking at all?
The eye issue may be from a lack of vitamin A. BTW, there are two forms of vitamin A …prEformed (retinol, form animal sources) or prOformed (From carotenes, veggie sources). It’s thought that chameleons can not convert the beta carotene sources and need the prEformed source…but prEformed sources are fat soluble and can build up in the system and lead to health issues so it’s important that we only use it twice a month…same for the D3. D3 from supplements can build up in the system…so we want the chameleon to produce most of its D3 from its exposure to the UVB light or the sunlight. It’s converted as needed by the chameleon and should not be able to lead to overdose as long as the chameleon can move in and out of the UVB at will.
