Hi all
Since the last 3 days she dug 5 holes for egg laying and she abandons it afterwards please can a expert teamviewer to my pc and check on my webcam please

Describe your laying bin? Sometimes females will dig a few holes before they make one they like.

Are you watching her? Does she have privacy? Have you tried covering the cage? Where is your webcam video?

Please im afraid she may become egg bound maby someone can teamviewer into my pc and check the webcam teamviewer lets u see what i see on my pc

You could try putting a potting plant in. I have had species that prefer to dig holes under plants. Some even preferred to dig under a piece of cork bark.

I use a 3 gallon planting pot filled up to one inch from the rim with organic potting soil that is very moist but not soggy. Adding a bit of sand helps with the consistency for digging as well. Place some branches in the pot and shove them into the dirt so that she can climb down to lay her eggs. Then what I do is offer food if she is hungry early in the morning and then leave her ALONE all day! If you have a webcam you can see if she is digging obviously. My females often will dig for 2-3 days trying to find the perfect spot. They have laid healthy eggs each time. Hope this helps and if you need anything further feel free to let me know :) good luck as I love flap necks!! :))

Quick update everyone i went out for 3 hours came back and she is now closing her hole very nice and seems very thin so i am assuming she have laid them how long will she close the hole? its closed now but she keeps stamping on the ground
