hi nathanuk,
sorry to hear about your chameleon.
but, it would be better to update your previous thread if we are still talking about the same chameleon.
a new post of the same topic sometimes confuse people and it would be great if you can refer the link of the old post so all of us could read the data b4 making a suggestion.

:(i did update the previous thread but no one was replyin, some of the guys from a uk site googled follicular stasis and some of the discriptions sound awful, theyve sugessted gettin her euthanasied.

In the other thread you said..."just got back from the vets and he took a few xrays, he said it was folicullar stacius"...(its stasis)...there is a lot that isn't understood about this yet. There is a lot involved in producing the eggs. I wish I knew what to tell you that would kick her into gear. (Its like she is in "neutral" right now.

You said..."he could operate but she wouldnt live much longer after recoverin so he said to take her home and see if she will pull through on her own by layin the eggs if they finish growin"...make sure you are giving her calcium and she is getting enough UVB. Is there preformed vitamin A or iodine in anything you give her?? Why did he think she wouldn't live long after recovering??

You said in your other thread..."ive just put 2 large layin sites of 50/50 play sand and peat in her enclosure"...try digging a hole for her to lay the eggs in and putting her in it. (The hole should be on an angle...not straight down.)
