Uroplatus Sex Help

Hey everybody,
We have this here mossy leaf tail gecko that was sold to us as ------. I don’t want make any guesses bias, but we are looking for more opinions as to the sex on this here gecko so we can find a mate for her/him. We have had it 6 months and it seems to be doing great and has gained weight every month that we have had it, this is a WC gecko, and other than that... We would just like some opinions on if we have a guy or a girl. Any help? Thanks!

Based on the lack of hemipenal bulges and how stout she is, I'm pretty sure it's a girl!

Males tend to stay a bit on the thinner side and have definite bulges to show their man hoods.

Agree with Luis on the she part. No bulges so far and looks like she is big for her age.

I've noticed with a lot Uroplatus species, the females are always wider.

Thanks Luis, your opinion is good enough for me. It was sold to me as a male however yesterday when I was making cuttings in her cage and planting some new cuttings I found a pair of old eggs, believing that I had a male I was racking my brain as to what I had in the cage before, nothing of that was a reptile (I think) so they must have come from her. So I guess I am now hunting for a male not a female cork bark.

For some reason it's hasn't been uncommon for importers to goof on the genders. I was to receive four females and the day they arrived I noticed that one was very clearly a male.

She's about average size for a U. pietschmanni female but her tail is quite a bit larger (ie, longer) than most but many WC Uroplatus have regenerated tails and it her's looks original.
