Using light fixture from aquarium for chameleon ok?

i have a aquarium light fixture that I don't use anymore, wondering would it be okay and safe for my veiled chameleon cage, mostly wanted to use it for plants.

The fixture doesn't have metal reflector around the inside.

Ya it will work, but where are you going to put your UVB bulb?

You could make a reflector for it easy. Spread some glue on the inside and glue down some tinfoil, boom reflector :).

I'm currently using
3 household flour scent light bulb 100W but uses 25W.
Reptile uvb 100 26W
2 old uvb 10.0
All on a small and medium size exo terra compact fixture
Household 100w but uses 60W on a heat lamp
So that's 3 light fixtures I'm using
So I would take the small one out and put the aquarium light fixture instead
Reason why I'm using so many bulbs is for plants cause the 25W bulb is daytime that gives out 5000k

Too old maybe.. Uvb fades out w time. I usually switch mine out every 6 months. Getting a Mercury Vapor bulb/reflector kit so I can save some cash in long run
