uvb lamps question

hy, i donno what to pick for my new cham coming soon!i hope u can give me some advice!

what is the best from: Reptisun 5.0 UVB (18 inch),Exo Terra Repti-Glo 5.0 Fluorescent Lamp(18 inch) and Fluker's Repta-Sun 5.0 UVB 18 Inch?which lasts longer?and which is better?
do they all work with Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium Hood, 18-Inch and Zoo Med ReptiSun Terrarium Hood, 20-Inch?
and what terrarium hood to you recommend from these 2?

Hello, welcome to the forum The one most recommended is the Reptisun (and it's what I use ).It will last longer, but will still need replacing after 6 months or so because the uvb output falls so much. All will work fine though, I used reptiglo before too.
I really expect they will all work in both those hoods, but I'm not 100% because I don't use them myself......
What kind of Cham are you planning on getting? Have you decided on age/ sex yet?

i've decided on a male panther im so excited to get him kinda scared i really wanna be sure that i get the right stuff :-s !

Nice, I never had a panther myself. Everyone gets a bit scared with their first Cham, so we know how it is. I used the reptiglos for 5 months, which is probably a bit too long from what I read to be honest, but it was summer and they went outside in the sun a bit so...........
Even if the light looks the same to you, it's not working as well as it should do.
