Hello ppl! Had a busy few months so only getting round to uploading some of these now.
My little (tri)Sarah(tops) had her first clutch hatch in November and these are some of the pics I've gone through/edited. Still a few batches to go so will upload once I get some time. Saving the best to enter into comps.
Also I just got back from my 11 day honeymoon on Sakatia Island, just off the coast of Nosy-Be, Madagascar. So awesome in so many ways! For example on our last day we saw 3 panthers chameleons in the 25m walk between our bungalow and breakfast. They are literally everywhere! I'll write up a review with some of the pics once I've got the time.
Some notes on this clutch:
Laid 15th March
Hatched November 19th
40 eggs laid Initially
6 infertile
4 lost in the first 4 weeks
and 2 at various points in the following 4-5months.
Tupperware box (pin hole in lid), digital thermometer with max/min memory with vermiculite substrate.
A few drops of water added to substrate around the 7th month.
Temperature between 24 (night) 28 (day) degrees centigrade.
The cupboard above my fridge turned out to be absolutely ideal!
All 28 hatched within 7 days of each other.
17 Male and 11 female.
One runt who held a very different brown color for the first 3 weeks before attaining full health and disappearing into the crowd. (Will add some pics of him).
All 28 are fat and healthy and doing very well the last time I saw them Crossing my fingers they all go to responsible homes.
