Veiled cham breeder?

As much as I would love to get a screameleons panther, I just can't chunk the money for one... (I'm looking at around $695 for a male panther, set up kit, and shipping, not arguing with the price, but that's too much for me at this time.) I think of screameleons for their amazing panthers, but who is a good reputable breeder for veileds?

I saw a site the other day, from a member on here...

The panthers were in good condition, and CHEAP. Like 225$ for a male!

It was amazing!

I cannot for the life of me remember the site though :(

Would you rather have a baby veiled (2 to 4 months) or an older veiled 5 to 8 months)?

Being inexperienced, I'm not sure what would be best for me. I'd want to be able to work with it at a young age so it's sociable when it gets older.

Another good thing is to buy a veiled that's older, but ALREADY social. Dez would probably sell you a nice one if you asked to pick out the most kind veiled ;)

Then you wouldn't have to deal with baby cage/upgrading cage/small bugs.

Just my 2 cents... I just got a baby veiled and it is adorable. Bug I am already having issues getting the correct size bugs... I love my creeper but if I were to get another (which I already want) I would get something a little bigger

Thanks! I'm still so torn because I want a panther like something fierce! Maybe tax return money.... ;-)

Welcome to the forums. Daz is an awesome small time breeder when you do get ready to buy. For now I would recommend doing allot of research and saving some money because chameleons are an expensive pet to keep. You will want to have a nice little Cham Savings Account for vet visits and unexpected expense.

I'm attaching my blog for new keepers below. It will tell you what you need to get started with a link to a picture of each item and where you can buy it. Most chameleon supplies can not be found at your local petstore.

Thank you jannb! I'm definitely not ready now... But I'm soaking everything up like a sponge.... I've been reading everything that I can find everyday! I'm stoked to go to repticon next month to see some chams in person, I get so giddy!

Jannb: I just read your blog... Amazing information! Love all the links you provide! I love all the information on this forum and everyone has been so nice!
