My 15 month male v. cham's casque/head appears to be swollen and puffy (almost overnight). It is tight like a blood blister. Also, his appetite is none and he does not appear to be drinking. His eyes are not sunken, and his colouring is normal, and is not skinny (yet). We have recently put him in a 6' high x 4' long x 2' deep screen cage (he is about 8" long not including his tail) which has lots of branches and a large fiscus plant but is this too big of a terrarium for him. Also, I notices small black dots on is head and on his one leg; is this normal?
He was drinking and eating well as a baby and as he ages he eats less to not at all.
P.SAbout his head, he did fall about a week ago. He was a little shaken then got back up on his tree. 4-5 days later we noticed the swelling and no eating/drinking. He just does not seem himself - I am scared for him....
