Hello all, my veiled chameleon layed her eggs, and one has hatched so far, i can tell that another one will be hatching soon, it is starting to ooze. But the rest are fairly large and they have veins in them when i do the light test, but can anyone show me what the eggs should look like? The one that did hatch is healthy and it was from an egg i thought may not be good, so now i am confussed. She layed 42 the first time, and just 3 months later she layed 40. the second set of eggs are very white compared to the first, and now the first are starting to look a little yellowish.
HELP!!!

Patience is the key I'm afraid. Only time can tell if your eggs are fertile and if they're hatching then you know you're incubating correctly. It's possible for chams to lay a mix of fertile and infertile eggs. I've known mouldy eggs, yellow eggs hatch perfectly healthy. Just keep an eye on them

Head of baby out

I have another one hatching, this will be the third from this hatch, but only part of his head is out should i help

IMHO its best to let them come out on their own. They usually lay there for a while to absorb any leftover yolk.
