Veiled Chameleon Enclosure Questions

I am still in the process of researching as I am looking into getting a veiled chameleon. I am planning on getting an XL reptibreeze (2'X2'X4'). I plan on getting a ficus tree and one of those bendy vines. Will this be enough? If not, what more will I need for climbing, hiding, etc.

I personally would get more than just one plant and one vine, but don't take my word for it. I have a reptibreeze that is 2x2x4 and it has plenty of room for large hiding spaces, even with tons of plants. I used 2 pothos, one dragon tree, and one Parlor Palm, along with 2 fake vines and a ton of natural sticks. I attached a pic of my setup, my cham is coming in two days from flchams and I hope he likes it!

You're on the right track. The xl reptibreeze is pretty much the standard for larger chams like that. As far as climbing/hiding/basking accessories do a google search and see what others have done. You just sort of wing it and build it up over time. You see him spending time in one place so you make a couple "runner" branches so he can more easily get to and from various parts of the cage. You prune the ficus so there's a shady spot here or there but it doesn't block out the light everywhere. It's fun!

Thanks for the response, but I have another question. How would I secure branches from outside (after cleaning of course) to the screen cage?

I use fishing line, but you have to be careful so you dont break the screen. I think thumb tacks work pretty well and I use zipties for inside the cage holding things together.
