It was during the night time, right before I went to bed. She must have been tire so I put her back in her cage, and then went to bedIf its day time out while shes sleeping on your hand.. thats usually not a good sign=/
Someone else will chime in soon.
I dont think your cham is actually sleeping.
My guys sometimes close their eyes when I am holding them, and Smeagie will always close his eyes when I am rubbing his chin or tummy.
Sometimes, just the warmth of my hand will make them close their eyes
and relax.
It's like closing your eyes when your daydreaming, your not going to sleep, your wide awake.
There is also a theory that they will freeze and close their eyes when they are in a very stressful situation and they are scared.
I dont particularly think there is much truth to that IMO.
when afraid, they are more likely to puff up and hiss/snap, or do the notorious "suicide drop" and run like hell

Hi! She is lovely but looks a little too skinny. She looks to be around 3-4 months old and at that age she should be eating loads! Females especially should be really hungry!
Since she is getting to that age, you will need to start thinking about egg layingand a laying bin. Here are some great links on female keeping and egg laying

How long have you had her? If she doesn't perk up soon then a vet visit might be in order. Here's a great veiled care sheet for you too

Egg laying bin? But isn't she too young to lay eggs?
Well mine wasn't moving for 35 minutes, so I think she was pretty much sleeping. It wasn't like closing eyes and opening them after a short period of time such as a relaxed state.
I rarely ever see her sleep, but for the first time I saw hew sleeping while I was handling herView attachment 72670
Amazing isn't it?
