Veiled Chameleon Temp

So I've been looking around every where about what a veiled chameleon cage temperature should be at, and I keep finding tons of different answers. So what temperature should the basking spot be? And what spot should the middle of the cage be at?

Here's the veiled chameleon caresheet for the forum: https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/

As you can see, it varies depending on sex and age. Ambient is what you want the middle and bottom of the cage to be, with a gradient from warmer to cooler as you move downwards.
Temperature:
Baby/juvenile (<9 months): ambient 72-80F (22-26C), basking 85F (29C)
Adult males: ambient 75-80F (23-26C), basking 90-95F (32-35C)
Adult females: ambient 75-80F (23-26C), basking 85F (29C)

Also, make sure to drop the temp by 10F at night time :)
Try getting a digital thermometer as well, as the small plastic dial ones pet stores sell aren't accurate.

Yes, a bit. At least for the time being. Maybe move the lamp up a few inches or try the next wattage down and see if that leaves you closer to 85ish.
