Veiled chameleon vs Panther chameleon

Ok well I had a veiled chameleon pass away on me a few days ago ( https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/how-did-my-veiled-chameleon-die.148972/)
anyway I started to think what I was going to do next because regardless I spent around $300 on the cage and everything so i decided to try again with a chameleon because I felt like I learned from my mistake. The only problem is that I don't know which kind to get. I am going to get a (both male) Ambilobe panther chameleon or a Veiled Chameleon. In your opinion which one is easier to keep.

They are both about the same. Just different things they eat, veileds will eat veggies and crickets, panthers won't. In my experience Veileds are a little bit more lenient with temps. Though they both need in the same range, and they need similar humidity/misting requirements.

Honestly I would say panther, but they're usually out of the price range of most people. Most panthers are tame, friendly, and colorful. But so are veilds. The choice is yours. Good luck

I have both. While I don't find one harder to care for than the other, my veiled is definitely the one that gives me more trouble (picky, doesn't like me etc).

They are both such lovely animals, it's hard to choose :)

Panthers will eat crickets and other insects. Its just a lot rarer for panthers to learn to like veggies or fruit.
