veiled chameleon water supply?

Hi i have a 2 month old veiled chameleon and ive been using a automatic mister for it going off a minute a day every 3 hours and i use bottled water/water jugs for water resource and it burns through water extremely fast about a bottle per day, how do you guys get your water source? Or is this the most efficient way? Thanks.

I usually just buy distilled water since it is really cheap and comes in large quantities, and it keeps my mister from getting clogged or anything. I used to use like tap water or bottled water but it had too much of a mineral buildup.

Distilled or RO/DI water for the reservoir. Keeps the lines and spray heads clean and clear. You can buy it by the gallon at most aquarium stores, or go online and buy your own RO/DI unit. They’re worth the investment.
