Veiled Chameleon Weight.

Hi, first time posting but just wanted to ask.

My Veiled Chameleon is 4-5 months old and i measured him at the start of the week he is 7.5 inches long including his tail. I weighted him tonight and he is 23g, is this underweight? He looks healthy, drinks, eats and poos normally.

He gets 6-8 crickets a day with a few mealworms dusted regularly with Calcium and dusted twice a month with calcium with d3 and multivits. He doesn't always eat all of his crickets or mealworms so thats why i don't over supply him with them.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

My girl is 7 months and 58 grams and my vet said she was a little too chunky, so really I could not tell you, I have been wondering the same thing. Post a picture if you can, Im curious to see yours size at that age.

Oh it worked :)

She was gorgeous, her colors are amazing. Frita has no color really here is a pic of her right now. I don't know if these are stress colors or if she is getting a darker shade of green, she isn't as minty as she was as a baby. She seems a tad orangish around her head lately, but then it seems to come and go.

here she is basking. Is she over weight at 58 grams, dr.duprel said she was on the chunky side slightly, but I don't know.

She gets 10-15 1/2 crickets every other day. And a salad with chopped fruit every day. Plus one meal worm or butter worm here and there for a treat. She gets dubias too, about 4 babies plus 6 crickets. She likes a variety. She will get silkies too and hornworms mixed in with her crickets.
