Veiled chameleons head turning black?

I just rescued this chameleon a couple days ago after he was left outside. He looked perfectly healthy. Had him for 4 days now and noticed this morning parts of his head are grey and black, i do not know if this is shedding or a burn marks. I have moved the lamp a bit higher then the cage (deep dome with 125w uva/uvb/heat bulb) basking spot is average 92 degrees, rest of the cage ranges from 74- 85. His colors got really vivid when he escaped and went outside in 45 degree weather. Found him chillin on a log i left out there for my bearded dragons. Could that be a possible reason for the black spots? I just want to know if i should be worried.

His basking location is a little too hot, and he is burning his cask. Either lower his basking location, or raise the heat source. He can burn his cask down to bone if you don't move it, as he won't feel a thing. Sadly that is what happened to my chameleon before I got him, and now his cask is stunted.

P.S. Beautiful boy!

That's not a burn. That's normal coloring for an adult male veiled. All males get the grey, black, brown, white coloring there.

But the basking spot is a bit too hot.

Well thanks. I have raised the lamp now the basking spot is around 85-88. I didnt think it was a burn. The spots magically disappeard today. Thanks for the replies.

I'm sure his head will get darker, they all do.
Also, if that's. A stink bug or shield bug on the wall behind him, don't let him eat those. They are toxic. So are lady bugs.
