veiled colors

Is the orange guy from your own breeder? I am breeding the orange guy with a high yellow female hopefully they will turn out great.

Also, I am waiting for people from buffalo who bought the same clutch from the Turquoise wanna see if all of them turn out turquoise like him.

Is that the girl you got from me? She doing allright?

Her sister is starting to get receptive coloration, I figured the females I sent out should be ready to breed soon as well. Right at the 10 month mark, it seems.

Eric,
She is doing alright. I won't breed her till she is at least 1 years old and I am planning to breed her with the kid from Azog. The orange guy is breeding with another female i got from Steve Vigo.

What about, er... blue veileds? I don't know how else to put it... I've noticed that mine has become more and more blue as he's gotten older. He's like a very dark bluish turquoise- a really rich shade of it. His spots are the same colour, although they turn black when he gets angry, and his stripes aren't yellow at all, they're like a pale green, fading almost to white near the top of his spine. The only orange on him is some speckling on his legs and the spines along his back. Most of the veileds I've seen are green and orange/yellow; I haven't ever seen one his colour. Is that a bad thing, or just rare?

Got a picture of him firing up?

I would be surprised if they were closely related. Azog really doesn't have the defined 'spot' like Ming. Poh's Azog kid has a pretty good 'spot' but it still touches the bar on one side. He's still killer looking!

That being said, it is possible that one of their dames carries the 'spot' gene, too.

If anyone gets a response from Liddy on Ming and Azog's relationship, I'd like to know the answer, too.
Just heard back from Liddy and found out that Ming and Azog are in no way related nor have they ever been bred to the same female. Shoots that theory down. David

Wow, all of these Veileds look amazing. The males definatly have a wider range of colors I am thinking than the girls. I didn't realize they came in so many wonderful colors. I still love my girl, she may be just plane, but still awesome, she gets a crazy purple sometimes tho, i will have to take some more pics. but all these males are very impressive.
